Original Since 1980

Information provided by Strauss Herb Company.

Alcohol: Alcohol is a very effective solution in mobilizing the herbal properties that are active
within plant cells, and is an excellent preservative.
Recovering alcoholic: Through our experience, recovering alcoholics do not have any problems during or after taking the Strauss Heartdrops®. When taking a serving of 15 drops the most alcohol ingested is approximately 6 drops. It takes 160 drops to make a teaspoon.
Removing alcohol: If you are still concerned about consuming alcohol then there is a very simple solution. Simply add the drops to a little (1/8 oz) hot water and then leave for a minute or two, then drink on an empty stomach. This will make the alcohol evaporate off, while maintaining the benefits of the herbs.
